Who is behind this
BoothDock is not the product of a company that knows photo booths by hearsay. I run them myself — and write the software between two events.
Built by a photo booth operator who knows the pain.
I've run photo booths at events myself and I know the moment when software freezes mid-event, the printer jams, or the customer asks where the photos are. BoothDock is the software I wished I had back then: event-hardened, with a real status overview and no nasty surprises.
On top of that: over 20 years in mechanical engineering and automation — still my day job. Plants that have to run through the night do not forgive software that works most of the time. That is where the watchdog, the self-repair and the offline operation come from — they are not extras, they are the mindset behind it.
